The Southern Fruit Festival at Suoi Tien is an annual event hosted at the Suoi Tien tourist area, showcasing unique and diverse fruit varieties from regions across the country. This festival promises a vibrant summer experience, bringing joy to visitors from all over.

When will the festival take place?

The event, themed “Rooted in Farming - Soulful in Culture - Modern Integration,” will officially kick off at Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area on June 1 and run through August 31. This year’s festival celebrates farmers as both cultivators of the land and guardians of national heritage. The program features a fresh and dynamic approach, blending tourism, culture, trade, and technology to transform Vietnamese identity into a distinctive cultural tourism experience.

Visitors can enjoy fruit tastings, explore beautifully arranged fruit displays, and experience traditional games and performances that celebrate the cultural richness of southern Vietnam.

Experience a vibrant cultural showcase

Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of exciting events, including the Ho Chi Minh City Agricultural Products Promotion Festival 2025, the Specialty Fruit Market, and the Suoi Tien Farm High-Tech Agricultural Model Exhibition. They can also experience authentic Mekong Delta culture through the traditional “Wedding on the Islet” ceremony, enjoy the creativity of the Fruit Sculpture Art Contest, and witness the vibrant “Vietnamese Agricultural Products Reach International Level” art parade. Additionally, a meaningful Community Festival will be held to present gifts to children affected by Agent Orange.

For the first time, this year’s festival brings together the Ho Chi Minh City Agricultural Products Promotion Festival and the Southern Fruit Festival, creating a dynamic space that blends traditional cultural values with modern trends in trade, tourism, and technology. The event not only celebrates the contributions and achievements of farmers but also preserves and promotes the traditional art of fruit carving, keeping the passion alive and showcasing the beauty of Vietnamese craftsmanship.

Exciting side activities to explore

Beyond the core agricultural events, this year’s Festival offers a rich lineup of engaging programs. Highlights include the Fruit Picking and Tasting experience at Suoi Tien Farm, the nostalgic “Hồn Quê Hội Tụ” space featuring a variety of Southern folk games, and a vibrant food street showcasing dishes from all three regions of Vietnam - North, Central, and South.

Visitors can also enjoy the ASEAN Friendship Music Program, a mini-show recreating the Vietnamese legend of Sơn Tinh - Thủy Tinh, and a thrilling fire dance circus performance. Throughout the summer, additional events such as the Community Running Campaign, the Water Festival, and a special “Limited Edition” Suoi Tien-themed merchandise sale promise to keep the festive spirit alive.
